As a newborn photographer, I strive to capture their little features and turn it into fine art that can be treasured forever. I have been taking beautiful photos of newborns for 13+ years and my clients often describe me as the baby whisperer

Newborn Sessions normally take place in the first 3 weeks of birth. This is because your little one is still use to being in the womb and can comfortably curl up into the sweet newborn poses! However I can still get super cute photos after this and my newborn pricing is for babies up to 12 weeks old.

The Super Sweet Shoot

A relaxed 1 hour, baby-led newborn session focusing on natural family connection.

Simple baby only portraits, captured on a comfortable posing table (keep to neutral white or select from a varity of colours).
Occasionally, time allows for an additional baby setup*

“When should I book?” – A great time to secure a space is once you have had your 20 week scan, but anytime after the 12 week scan is fine.

“How do I book?” – You secure your space by paying a small £25 deposit via bank transfer, this comes off of your chosen package. Once baby arrives, we book the actual shoot and the package balance is due one week before the session.

“Do I need to select my package when securing a shoot?” – You are welcome to decide on your package once baby arrives.

“Can I purchase additional single photos individually on top of my chosen package?“ – yes, you can buy additional single images at £20 each.

Other important information:

£25 non refundable deposit to secure your space. Balance due one week before the shoot date or pay in smaller payments leading up to the session. (Paypal also offer 4 months interest free credit if you need to spread the cost after the session).
Newborn shoots normally take place on weekday mornings during school hours.
All packages are digital images & do not include any physical prints, however these can be purchased in addition.

Further frequently asked questions

When does a newborn session take place? My newborn sessions take place while baby is under 3 weeks old and are normally shot on week days.

What if my baby is over 3 weeks? My newborn pricing is for babies up to 3 months old, however I can not guarantee what they will and won’t do posing wise during their shoot after the general 3 week rule. I can confirm that I will capture super cute photos regardless of age and most will pose like a newborn for around the first 6 weeks.

Do I need to bring anything? I have everything needed at the studio for the actual shoot. All you need to bring is spare milk, nappies and supplies for the new arrival. If you are having photos with your baby I do suggest bringing a spare pair of clothes for yourselves, just in case baby were to have an accident on you mid shoot.

How long will the shoot last? This all depends on little one at the time of shoot however I offer 1 hour and 2 hour shoots.

Can I purchase more images if I want? Yes of course – you can upgrade your package or buy single additional photos.

Can we have family photos at the session to? Of course!

How long have you been photographing babies? Well over a decade and have probably taken over 1000 babies photos at this point.

When is the balance due? Can I spread the cost? The full balance must be paid one week before the shoot. If you would like to spread the cost of the balance, please ask me about my ‘pre shoot’ installment plan. This means you can pay parts here and there in the run up to the session. Paypal offer a 4 month interest free plan, if you need to spread the cost after the session. A non refundable deposit of £25 is required at the time of booking.
