Newborn Sessions normally take place in the first 3 weeks of birth. This is because your little one is still use to being in the womb and can comfortably curl up into the sweet newborn poses! However I can still get super cute photos after this and my newborn pricing is for babies up to 12 weeks old.

I offer two different ways to capture your new arrival.
Every family is different, which is why I offer two newborn experiences to choose from.
The Signature Experience is my more expansive, extended session, allowing plenty of time for a wider variety of images. Photos of your baby, alongside family and sibling portraits and all the little details. It’s perfect if you want a fuller collection of memories from this special stage.
The Super Sweet Session is designed for families who would like a beautiful collection of newborn photographs without the longer studio experience. It’s ideal if you’re looking for something simpler while still capturing those precious early days.
Further frequently asked questions
When does a newborn session take place? My newborn sessions generaly take place while baby is under 3/4 weeks old and are normally shot on week days.
What if my baby is over 3/4 weeks? My newborn pricing is for babies up to 12 weeks old, I just can’t guarantee what they will and won’t do posing wise during their shoot. I can confirm that I will capture super cute photos regardless of age and most will pose like a newborn for around the first 6 weeks 🙂 NEVER be put off booking a shoot when baby is a little bit older.
Do I need to bring anything? I have everything needed at the studio for the actual shoot. All you need to bring is spare milk, nappies and supplies for the new arrival. If you are having photos with your baby I do suggest bringing a spare pair of clothes for yourselves, just in case baby were to have an accident on you mid shoot.
How long will the shoot last? This all depends on little one at the time of shoot however I offer 1 hour and 2 hour shoots.
Can I purchase more images if I want? Yes of course – you can upgrade your package or buy single additional photos.
Can we have family photos at the session to? Of course!
How long have you been photographing babies? Well over a decade and have probably taken over 1000 babies photos at this point.
When is the balance due? Can I spread the cost? The full balance must be paid one week before the shoot. If you would like to spread the cost of the balance, please ask me about my ‘pre shoot’ installment plan. This means you can pay parts here and there in the run up to the session. Paypal offer a 4 month interest free plan, if you need to spread the cost after the session. A non refundable deposit of £25 is required at the time of booking.
